Dr. Sarah Sugden,
AuD, FAAA
Co-Founder, Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Sarah Sugden has been helping people rediscover their sense of hearing for over 20 years. She obtained her clinical Doctorate Degree in Audiology from the University of Florida, Gainesville. She has extensive experience with adult and pediatric hearing testing, tinnitus evaluations, hearing aid fittings and management, as well as balance assessments and dizziness evaluations. Doctor Sugden has also obtained several certifications in concussion diagnosis and managements, as well as vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy through Fyzical.
Dr. Joel Grimshaw,
PT, DPT
Co-Founder, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Joel Grimshaw has been helping patients reach their rehabilitation goals for over 20 years. His expertise comes from working in multiple settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, nursing homes, home health care and outpatient sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. He obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.
He has continued his education and training to include McKenzie Mechanical Evaluation and Treatment as well as multiple sports and orthopedic related courses. He has obtained several certifications in vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy through Fyzical.He specializes in Balance and Vestibular rehab, neurological rehabilitation, and concussion management.
Dr. Jordan Sgroi,
AuD, CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Sgroi obtained his clinical doctorate degree in Audiology from Salus University of Pennsylvania and Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from SUNY Fredonia. Prior to joining Watertown Audiology for his fourth-year externship, Dr. Sgroi garnered valuable experience in a busy hospital and clinical setting in the Department of Otolaryngology at Temple University in Philadelphia. He has experience with adult and pediatric hearing testing, hearing aid fittings and hearing aid. He also performs tinnitus evaluations, vestibular testing (balance and dizziness testing) and Central Auditory Processing Disorder testing. He also earned his Clinical Certificate from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Dr. Allan Litterio,
PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Litterio obtained his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Utica College, and his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Studies with honors from Utica College. He worked for Mohawk Valley Health Systems in sub-acute inpatient rehab for over a year gaining experiencing working with patients with neurological deficits (strokes, MS, and patients with balance deficits), orthopedic deficits (Hip, Knee, and shoulder replacements, sprains, strains, and arthritic issues), and patients with cardiovascular deficits (COPD, and CABAGE surgery’s). Additionally, he practices Physical Therapy in the U.S. Army Reserves as an officer having experience treating soldiers with a variety of orthopedic issues. Dr. Litterio has also completed certifications in vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy through Fyzical and has completed the McKenzie A and B courses.
