What will happen to John B. and Sarah in season two of Outer Banks?
While the show hasn't been renewed for season two just yet, series co-creator Jonas Pate has given some hints about what fans can expect if it comes back.
"There would be a couple episodes that take place, at least partially, in the Bahamas," Jonas Pate told USA Today. "It unfolds into a bigger mystery. We keep our old villains and we add some new ones. But it always comes back to the Outer Banks."
Chase Stokes, who plays John B., also opened up about the finale, saying that the biggest challenge will be survival for the two lovebirds.
"I think it will be fun to dive into some uncharted territory – story-wise and culturally," he told USA Today. "There is just so much diverse culture down there in the Bahamas for us to explore. And for John B and Sarah, this is really fight or flight. We don’t have anything on us, except a chunk of gold. How do we manage our lives?"
Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah, says that things between her and her family will be put to the test in season two.
"Personally, I would like there to be some sort of confrontation. What I love about Sarah, especially in season one, you kind of see her come into her own and kind of find her voice and come out from under the umbrella her dad has kind of created. So I would love to have some sort of confrontation with Ward," she told Entertainment Tonight. "But I feel even though she has chosen John B., I know there's a part of Sarah that still loves [Ward] very deeply and still does want to protect him, but she's very much aware that he's not the person that he's made himself out to be."
