Had a lovely stay here. It had it all! Quality rooms, amazing staff, so friendly and accommodating, couldn't be more helpful! The food is tasty with a good range on the menu, as a veggie the vegan burger was lush! Will definitely be going back! Entertainment in the evening was fab also! Great atmosphere! Thank you Billycan for a fab time 😁

Stumbled across this dog friendly gem in the heart of Tenby!! We hadn’t booked a table but the staff were very accommodating in finding us somewhere to sit, the kitchen doesn’t start serving food until 6pm so we enjoyed a couple of drinks whilst browsing the menu. Fantastic choice of food on the menu and lots of drinks to also choose from. Food was very tasty and huge portion sizes!!! We would definitely recommend, thank you for having us!

Four of us Sunday lunch here and it was nothing short of excellent. Each of us had a different meat and there were all lovely. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and it’s the same every time we come here.

Great friendly service for dinner for our large group of 14 people plus 3 toddlers. Staff were lovely and very patient and kind. The food was great, huge portions! Only one vegan option, but this vegan burger is a special one that the chef has taken some care over. Thank you!

A beautiful meal, excellent service and very friendly. Portion sizes are very large, be warned!!! My husband's steak was a little undercooked but it went back to the kitchen and returned perfect!! I had all fish, starter and main, lovely 😍

A very warm and friendly welcome, very accommodating to a couple with a new born baby and assisted us to our room. Although the restaurant was particularly busy, they managed to find a table for us or even deliver food to our room. Food was tasty and plentiful. All staff were attentive and friendly.

Absolutely amazing! Very very generous portions and every single thing was delicious. The best places we've eaten in Tenby by far. We can't stop talking about the whole experience!Staff we lovely and the atmosphere was calm with music playing but still able to hear conversations. Other dinners we very friendly too!

We absolutely loved our celebration dinner at Billycan. Our waitress was fantastic. The portions were huge, but so delicious, we didn't want to leave any. My vegan burger was super tasty and the chips were divine. Highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful roast dinner!!! 10/10 for sure.In addition, two of our group have severe nut allergies and staff handled this perfectly i.e. understood the seriousness and gave us succinct information so they could decide whether to eat or not. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a relaxed buzz. We will definitely return :)

Recommended Billycan from our campsite warden at Meadow Farm.A warm welcome from the team and sat in a nice dog friendly table. A good option of wines, beers and soft drinks.The menu was very meat focused which was fine with myself however not everyone would like this.We went with piri piri chicken and crab linguine which I have attached a photo.The food portions were very large but would say a factor of quantity over quality it felt which was a shame but was tasty.

It is very difficult to get a table at this bar, and I can certainly understand why. The food is incredible. Everything cooked fresh. I ordered the Chilli Burger, and you could not fault it. The meat was incredible, the salad so fresh. I was undecided about what to select from the menu as it was all just amazing. My sister had the steak pie, which was a 10/10 fresh vegetables, meat so tender that it just melts in your mouth. I can not begin to tell you how tasty all our meals were. They were all excellent value for money.Would highly recommend, will definitely be returning and just advise booking well in advance. The best meal that we eat all week.

They definitely go for quantity over quality with that seafood platter. Lots of everything but many of the mussels still had seaweed in them and the calamari oily. The platter could have done with a sauce for the mussel, or dips for the calamari/prawns as the whole thing was very dry and plain. Also some napkins or water to wash your hands??The service was impeccable though and some of the other dishes served were fantastic. Would revisit but would avoid the seafood platter and stick the other great dishes available

Had an amazing roast dinner there. Portion sizes were very generous, but unlike some places that just concentrate on the volume of food, here the quality of food and cooking was superb. Would definitely go again.

It was a recommendation from the receptionist of our hotel. We went for dinner. Also, we were lucky as they were still accepting walk-ins at 9PM. The menu is a mix of everything from a pub style menu with many moroccan options. We ended choosing the Moroccan feast to share in 3 people. The waiter said would might be less, but in fact it was a ridiculous massive portion size, that we were not able to finish. The kebab was tasting more as minced beef burgers. The spicy sausages were nice but we were not keen for so big sausages. The lamb cutlets were in lack of a nice sauce. The chicken was the best, amazing flavour. The couscous was perfect done. Nice side salad and sauce. Honestly, it hurt me to see how much food I was seeing been wasted in most tables. My review is just 3 stars because I don’t like wasting, and I would suggest or the restaurant to reduce their portion sizes and then price, or create an option of small portion and large portion. The quantity of food I saw being wasted could definitely feed many other people

Had a superb family lunch here yesterday. As always the food was absolutely amazing. Everything cooked to perfection using quality ingredients. I had the tikka hake which was so so delicious. The portion was very generous , I didn't eat for the rest of the day. Would highly recommend. Its a must for us whilst in Tenby. As its so popular though I would recommend booking beforehand.

Had Sunday dinner here as a group of 8 adults and 2 children. The plates of food were huge but soo tasty. Great selection of vegetables and the meat was tender. I couldn't have asked for better. Such good value for money and good service.

Seriously, what an absolute treat!! Locationis superb and Service, food, drinks, value for money is second to none. Staff warm and friendly and professional, the chef was on fire tonight, not literally I might add 🤭. Amazing Portions. The menu offered a great selection. We ordered the Fish Pie, Hake Tikka and 10oz Sirloin. The first thing that struck us was the sheer size of the portions. They were huge, the food was fresh and I really liked the eclectic and simple design of the restaurant. There was plenty of room for three adults and a sleeping toddler. The staff were very friendly, attentive and quick with service. Overall I would definitely recommend stopping in for a meal.

Has to be THE best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Not because it was a huge portion but the fish was beautifully battered and cooked, light and crispy and just flaked away. Couldn’t finish it all as much as I tried.The beef burritos were as equally impressive. Staff/service was great.Will be back without doubt - 5*

I visited this restaurant on the Tuesday after Easter with my brother, drawn in by the appetising food pictures on Google Maps. The setting was modern and the staff, friendly.We chose the Billycan platter for two, featuring a generous mix of small burgers, fried chicken, fish, chips, and beef. While the quantity seemed satisfying, I began feeling bloated after a few bites, which I initially attributed to the portion size. Unfortunately, my discomfort escalated into persistent vomiting and symptoms of gastroenteritis after returning home to London that evening.Compounding this, my brother, who traveled to Bath post visit, experienced identical symptoms throughout the night and the following morning, ruining his day as a tourist.I only dined here once, so I can't speak to their usual standards of hygiene. But it's disheartening to report that our visit was followed by such severe gastroenteritis symptoms, suggesting a potential issue with the food quality that day.Overall, 2 stars just for the modern environment and friendly attitude of the staff.

Went for Sunday lunch whilst on short break in sunny Tenby. Great service, good beer, and amazing Sunday roast. I had the 3 mixed meats option. It came with ALL the trimmings and was immense - in size and quality 👌. Extra gravy was provided without being asked - love that. This Sunday lunch takes some beating

We were extremely impressed by Billycan, and if we were staying in Tenby longer, we would have definitely returned for another meal! The hospitality and the quality of our meal were so outstanding that I would even consider staying in their B&B.The chips were possibly the best I've ever had in a restaurant. We ordered the ribs and the Billycan burger, and the meat was cooked to perfection.Our only criticism is that the portion sizes were so large that we felt guilty for not being able to finish our meals.I'd recommend booking in advance. We booked by walking in at lunchtime on a Monday, and it was almost fully booked for the evening.

Large group of us went for Sunday lunch. Staff and service were great! The Sunday dinner was one of the best I’ve had. Great sized portions and the quality was fantastic. Highly recommend and will be back next time we are in Tenby!

Went here for a family meal, and it did not disappoint! The starters were fantastic and very big portions. We all had different mains, kebab, steak, and burgers. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed, and my partner said it was the best steak he's ever had! The service was also fantastic. Highly recommended. It's not too pricey either!

Had lunch on a quiet Monday. Great menu outstanding tasting food with huge potions. Every morsel tastier than the next. Staff were great and vibe is cool.Can’t recommend highly enough.

I've been coming here for years. Great place to eat . Portion sizes and quality of the food is excellent. Great choice across the menu.Sunday lunch dinners are outstanding with a smaller menu choice for those who dont eat a traditional Sunday lunch. There is something for everyone. Friendly staff can not do enough for you.If friends say to me I'm going to Tenby, I always say go to the Billycan !I would advise you to book a table if you're planning in going there.

Booked for a birthday, have had many meals there and always been happy, sadly this meal was beyond disappointing. Dry chicken kebabs and lamb shank was extremely fatty. Honey roasted vegetables were sadly dried out parsnip and 2 baby carrots. Mashed potatoes tasted like it was powered. For 2 people with a cost of £62, this will be our last visit there.

A delayed celebratory meal for Mothers day so my daughter insisted on pushing the boat out. This called for the seafood platter to share.Not entirely sure what to expect, my word what a feast, trust me you need two hearty appetites to tackle this selection.Tempura prawns- delicious, calamari, our favourite, juicy mussels aplenty and half a lobster each all delicious though lobster cooked a we tad over so rather tough but we wrestled that beast down.Didn't really hit the chips as we were determined to do the platter justice. The side salad was delicious and helped to cut through the richness of the platter. Next time we'd ask for two salads instead of chips.Not a cheap meal but a real treat for a special occasion and would highly recommend.Staff friendly and helpful, very busy even out of season so always best to book.We will be back for sure. Just awful.Main waiter (male) aloof. Wine uncorked before delivering to table. Chicken nachos as starter was just a mess, not appropriate or appealing.Main course: fish cakes and chips. Well, fish cakes dry, stodgy, cooked day before, and chips, old and re-fried.Avoid.So disappointing on so many levels.

The Beef Sunday Roast is one of the best we have had!Beef just feel apart in your mouth, portion sizes are very generous!Coupled with friendly staff, a clean and comfortable restaurant makes for a lovely Sunday afternoon!

just had a Christmas meal for a party of 9.... lovely food, great service, friendly staff.the chef made a specific starter & mains for one guest with specific food intolerance with no problems.absolutely faultless.... be warned the portion sizes are large so make sure you've got plenty of room in your tummy for these yummy dishes! 😋

We always visit here when we come to tenby. Food is absolutely fantastic everytime. We was here this week again and once again we had a great meal, generous portion size. We had the Moroccan sharing platter which I highly recommend. Also had the cheesecake for dessert which again was very good. Service from the waitress was brilliant. A must visit if you are after a really good meal
